We're very excited to announce the addition of nearly 20 new CloudShow apps! These apps can be used on any CloudShow digital sign you have, and all of them are fully customizable. Here is the complete list of all the new apps, with some screenshots below to get a taste of what they look like.
We're excited to announce that we've added the ability to rotate content frames on devices that don't normally support rotation!
Using this feature you can rotate almost any content frame 90°, 180°, or 270° to show your content in the orientation you prefer. For example, if you have a TV running as a digital sign powered by an Amazon Fire TV stick, these devices don't normally support rotation. If you wanted to run this sign in portrait mode instead of landscape mode you would be unable to. With this new feature you can mount your TV in portrait mode and use this feature to rotate the content instead of relying on the Fire TV to support rotation.
Give this new feature a try today! As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or issues when using CloudShow, please don't hesitate to contact us.
We're excited to announce that we've added the ability to view charge level of the battery in devices that have them.
To check the status of the battery, click the device on the dashboard to navigate to its device page. You'll see a battery icon on the top right near the device name, and hovering it will show a tooltip with more detailed information.
You can also view the detailed battery information in the edit dialog for the device.
If the battery level is below 50%, the battery icon will also show up next to the device in the list on the main dashboard.

We're excited to announce that we've added the ability to expire content files automatically. You can now set an expiry date and time on images, videos, and other content types. When the expiry date passes, the content will be automatically removed from the configuration on all devices. This feature is great for making sure that things like limited time promos get removed automatically.
Follow these steps to set an expiry date on a file:

We're excited to announce that we've added a new API endpoint (setDeviceTemplate) for changing the template on devices.
To use this endpoint, you'll need an API token that has read/write permissions. You can view and configure tokens on the Organization > API page.
To perform a quick test and view more details about the setDeviceTemplate endpoint, navigate to Organization > API > Documentation > setDeviceTemplate.

We're excited to announce that we've added a new "live preview" feature for previewing device configurations. Using this, you can see exactly how every screen and frame will look on the device itself.
To view the live preview for a device or template, navigate to the device or template's configuration page, then click the "Live Preview" link at the top of the page. You'll be prompted to confirm the action.
You can also view the live preview for a device by clicking the magnifying glass next to the device on the Dashboard.
