I have been runing a cloudshow sign on one of my spare monitors for quite some time. Only recently did I notice that my comptuer monitors arent going to sleep/showing a screen saver anymore. From what i can tell it's cloudshow that is prevenging it from activating the screensaver/going into powersave mode. When i quit the client program and shut down the sign my computer is able to run the screensaver/turn off the monitors when inactive for the specified time.

Is there a way to make it so the screensaver/powersave works while the cloudshow client/sign is running? I want to use the sign but would still like to retain the ability to have the screensaver/powersave run. I cant seem to find any settings for this etc.

There isn't currently an option to allow the screen saver to run, but let me check in with our developers to see if it would be possible to add one.

Looks like it should be possible. We've put this on our feature request list, and we'll be sure to let you know when we've been able to implement it.

Thanks!

Ok, we've just rolled out an update for the Windows client, and you can now create a registry value to have it not keep the computer awake: https://cloud.show/AdvancedSettings/#general_disablesleepprevention

Hope that helps!
