Hi,
I'm new to digital signage and I playing around with Instagram image slideshow.
I have some doubts:
- Does this app show all the images, only some? What criteria does the app use if it doesn't show all images?
- The slideshow stops a lot on my device and I have to restart the app to resume the slideshow on the device, instead, in the preview on my account, the slideshow it still run as spected.
- It's posible to show instagram videos?

Hi Antonio,
The app will cycle through any images that are on the authorized account. It only supports images as well, not videos.
What device are you running CloudShow on?

How long does it take for the slideshow to stop? Does it freeze on a slide, or does it show a black screen/return to the home screen on your device?

The time that the slide takes to stop is variable. But it always stop at one slide (not always the same slide). Instead, the audio that I have set, does continue to play.

Okay strange, I don't have that device, but I have a firestick that I'll test with on my end next week and see if I run into any issues.
I was able to reproduce this on my end, so I've added it to our list to look into. We'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it going forward.

Hi Antonio,
Just an added note here, you can use the "Auto-Refresh" feature in CloudShow to have the app restarted automatically at regular intervals to prevent that freezing.

Strange, you should be able to set the interval by the number of minutes. Could you send me over a screenshot of the setting you're seeing?

Ah, you'll find the "Auto Refresh" setting in the Instagram app settings on the CloudShow Dashboard.

We took a look into this, it seems like there's a memory leak in the browser control for these devices. Unfortunately this isn't something we can fix on our end, but the auto refresh setting should reload and clear out the memory automatically.

Hi Antonio,
Unfortunately we had to remove Instagram, we had troubles with their approval process and couldn't get CloudShow verified.
