I have a basic sign on an iPad mini with two zones. The top zone has the "Digital Flip Clock" app and the bottom zone has the "current date" app. With the "Digital Flip Clock" I am able to use the Scaling option to scale it up so it fills the whole upper section... it works great and fills in the whole top part. The scaling option however does NOT work for the "current date" app. No matter what I do the date text stays SUPER tiny and pretty much unreadable. Not sure what to do. I have deleted the apps and started over, fiddled with all the settings I can think of. No matter what I do, the date stays super tiny and unreadable.

Okay strange, if you open the CloudShow dashboard and click the "Full Preview" button on that device, is the text small there as well?

Thanks!

When I use the full preview option on the dashboard I get what is pictured in the attached here. That is what I want it to look like however the attachment in my first post here in this discussion thread is what it actually looks like on the device.
In other words... the preview looks fine. On the actual device it's totally different and way smaller/unreadable text.

Edit: I should also note that the Flip clock in the preview is smaller than the actual device. Thats not an issue because it at least actually scales on the device it self.

So... to recap, Kind of two issues here. It seems the preview doesn't accurately represent what the device is showing for both the flip clock and date apps AND the date app doesn't actually scale on the device when you change the sale (the flip clock however does scale when you change it... but the scaling isn't represented accurately in the preview).

hopefully that made sense.

To try to clear this up.
Sign is spit into two sections
Top section is set to the "Flip Clock" app
Bottom section is set to the "Current Date" app

For the Flip clock app
Under advanced settings, Scaling is set to 280%.
In the "full preview" it is only taking up about 50% of the overall top area.
On the device itself it fills in about 100% the entire top portion.
I'm not sure why the full preview looks different than what is showing on the device but the end result is it looks how I want it to look on the device (ipad Mini).

For the Current date app
Under advanced settings, Scaling is set to 100%.
In the "full preview" It's taking up about 100% of the overall bottom area.
On the device itself it is only taking up about 5% of the overall bottom area (I don't know if that percentage number is accurate. That's just my guess on how much it's actually filling up bottom area. Bottom line is it's super tiny and unreadable).
I've tried fiddling with all sorts of settings on the dashboard for the current date app and cant figure out why the scaling isn't actually working for that app. Again, in the preview i changes when i change the scaling. On the device itself nothing changes. The text stays super tiny and unreadable.

Sorry for the delay here. We were able to get our hands on a device running iOS 12, and we can reproduce the issue on our end. I've added it to our list to look into, so we'll be sure to let you know if we have any news on it going forward.

Thanks!

We've just pushed an update that should fix this up. Please let me know if you still run into any issues.

Thanks!

it's important to keep in mind that different apps may have different capabilities when it comes to scaling and font size adjustments, so it's always worth experimenting with different options to find what works best for your specific needs.
